Far to often people upload their book to kindle publishing and it results in cropped pages, pointless blank pages, or duplications of text.

You can download this template for Microsoft Word that comes with pre-defined margins and text locations to help you ensure you won’t run into the same issues.

Setting Up Your Account

Once you’ve got your book in order you’ll want to head to the Kindle Direct Publishing Site and either login with your existing Amazon Publishing Account (createspace) or sign-up.

The Dashboard

Once you are logged in you will be presented with your “Bookshelf” which is the KDP (Kindle Direct Publishing) dashboard you will see a list of your current titles, their status, and various other information.

At this time click “Add New Title” to start the publishing process

Adding a New Title

Section 1: Entering Book Details

In the book details section you first enter your books title (keep it short if possible to make it more kindle friendly).

Edition Number: If this is an edit of the book you will want to change the edition number

Description: This is the description that will be seen in the Kindle Book Store and when your book is pulled up in searches – try and be SEO savvy about it and include your desired keywords

Book Contributors: This is where you would put an author name

The other information is pretty straight forward. For those of you who do not have ISBN’s but would like to use one for broader search purposes I will be covering that in another thread.

Section 2: Verifying Your Publishing Rights

If the work is original you will want to select “This is not a public domain work and I hold the necessary publishing rights.” otherwise select that it is public domain.

While you can sell both public domain and private rights on KDP only the second option will protect your IP rights.

Section 3: Target Your Book To Customers

This section is pretty straight forward, select categories that relate to your books content and select keywords that would be used to find it. (These keywords are not only used in KDP but also passed into Meta-Information for use in Google)

Section 4: Upload Your Book Cover

In this section you have the opportunity to upload your own book cover (if you don’t a place holder sample is used – it’s not terrible but it isn’t favorable)

The requirements for your cover art are as follows:

• Image dimensions of at least 500 by 800 pixels.

• A maximum of 2000 pixels on the longest side is preferred

• Ideal height/width ratio of 1.6

• Save at 72 dots per inch (dpi) for optimal viewing on the web

• RGB color mode

Section 5: Upload Your Book File

Here is where you have the chance to upload your book file. It is best uploaded in .doc (not .docx as that has some transfer issues).

You also have the option to enable DRM or not. Enabling DRM will ensure that only users who have bought or rented your e-book have access to it. If you plan to profit from the sale of the ebook this is the best way to go. If you plan to profit from an affiliate method then do not enable DRM.

Section 7: Verify Your Publishing Territories

This section allows you to declare product availability (where you will sell your ebook) also if you have licensed rights to a product in a single country, region or territory section 7 would allow you to ensure you keep to your contract while using the exposure of KDP

Section 8: Choose Your Royalty

The choose your royalty section is one that confuses a great deal of people. So the best way to break it down is that 35% royalty means you get 35% of EVERY sale and can set your price as low as $0.99.

70% royalty means you get 70% of every sale in UK, US, Canada, Australia, Germany, and Spain. The minimum price of your book must also be $2.99

In both royalty situations you are charged for the delivery cost. Which depends on the size and graphics involved in your books.

Section 9: Kindle Lending

The last section is Kindle Lending, it gives you the option to allow buyers to loan their copy of the book to family and friends for up to 14 days. During which time the original buyer can not access the content as it is on loan.

Once again whether you enable this or not is something that depends on your monetization method. If you are monetizing through affiliate methods feel free to enable it. If sales are how you are monetizing then do not enable it.

Publish

You are now finished creating your first e-book and can hit save and publish. It will take roughly 48 hours before the book is published. Now it’s time to start advertising that book!

Quick Self-Publishing GuideAnonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02294748870101771541noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1431988334247187012.post-2580200318888185192014-06-14T01:18:00.001-07:002014-06-14T01:18:18.475-07:00101 Ways To Promote Your Blog
When ever we talk about SEO, we divide it into on site and off site SEO. This works in any niche, although I’ve had the best success in competitive, popular niches like SEO, weight loss and make money online.

Attention! This is not a get rich quick scheme but rather a very sustainable and long-term business idea!

Before I go any further, please note that I’m definitely NOT saying that this is the best or only way to make money online. There are hundreds of different methods and systems out there that people use with success. What I WILL say, however, is that I’ve personally tested many of those methods, and found them to be either extremely competitive, unsustainable, or simply not worth it given the amount of time and/or financial investment required.

This is the only business model I’ve had solid, consistent, sustainable success with from day one. It’s also the exact same business model most 6, 7 and even 8 figure internet marketers use. Again, it’s not the best or only way to make money online, but it works, and if you’re struggling, and you implement this strategy, I can practically guarantee that you’ll succeed.

The basic concept. I’ll get into more detail soon, but first it’s important to understand the general concept of what works, and that is:

Sell high quality information products and coaching services to people who want to buy and can afford them, that help people to improve their quality of life, relationships and/or financial situation, do it honestly and ethically, and target repeat buyers.

That simple business model, system or method, whatever you want to call it, is EXACTLY what most successful internet marketers do. As you can see, it’s not rocket science, but it definitely works.

Now here’s exactly how to do it, step by step:

First thing’s first, the product and market are everything. I’m a firm believer that if you want to be successful online, you need your own product. But you can also be an affiliate by promoting complimentary products and services on the back end, as long as they help people.

Why do you need your own product? Quite simply, if you’re serious about scaling your business, you want to build a huge list of repeat buyers, and the quickest and easiest way to do that is with paid traffic. And you’ll need a front end offer to pay for that traffic.

The good news is, if you don’t have the time or money to create one yourself, you can always license someone else’s. There are hundreds of products on ClickBank that are good, but simply aren’t making the owners any money because they don’t know how to get traffic. You could license any one of those products for pennies on the dollar, simply by asking.

Now, in my experience, your product and market will either make or break your business. If you screw this up, you’ll be fighting a permanent uphill battle that you’ll never win. If people don’t want what you have to offer, or there’s no buyers in your niche, how can you ever expect to make any money?

The good news is, getting this part right is easy. First, let’s start with picking a niche, since I know a lot of people find this hard.

Niche selection. Before I say anything else, I am a HUGE advocate of targeting a niche you’re passionate about. If you don’t care about what you’re selling, or you don’t care about your customers, it will come through in everything you do. And you’ll find it very, very difficult to remain motivated during the tough and/or boring times (which are sure to follow).

Having said that, you also need to make sure to target a profitable niche, filled with repeat buyers who want what you have and can afford to buy it. It’s no good being passionate about mowing the lawns, because NO ONE will buy your information. So the key is to find a balance: make sure you care about your niche, but also make sure there’s money to be made.

To find a profitable niche, head on over to the Clickbank marketplace. Look through all the different categories until you find one you’re passionate about. The key is to make sure that there’s lots of products in your niche (at least a few hundred) and that lots of these products have a decent gravity, preferably more than 30.

Now, I know that gravity is not a sure fire indicator that a product is selling well to the general public. But if it’s maintained a decent gravity for several years (you can always use The Wayback Machine to make sure), then it’s a very good sign.

Now, if you see that there’s lots of products in your niche that have been doing well for years, then you’re on to a winner.

Market research. Once you’ve picked your niche, you need to create a product. Or, if you don’t have the time or money, you need to license someone else’s. But before you do ANYTHING, you need to be 100% sure that your product is a guaranteed winner. How do you do that? Very simple.

First off, visit a popular forum in your niche and make sure it’s BUSY (people are posting regularly). Google “niche” + “forum” to find one. For example “make money online” forum or “weight loss” forum.

Now, go through the “introduce yourself” and/or “general discussion” type threads. In my experience, people have no problem sharing intimate details about their most frustrating and desperate problems on forums, especially when they’re brand new. And this information is GOLD.

What you’re looking for are the most popular threads, with the most views and replies. This is a good indication that the topics or problems being talked about are common and/or interesting and appeal to your target market. Now, copy and paste the titles and general questions being asked from each of these threads over to a Word document.

I suggest to go back through a years worth of threads. Yes, this is time consuming, but this information will benefit you for years to come. This is how you get inside your target prospect’s minds and figure out EXACTLY what they’re looking for (so you can sell it to them).

To make your life easier, I suggest is to separate the different threads into specific categories. So for example, if someone’s asking about how to get more traffic to their blog, put that in your “traffic” category.

Unfortunately, this process is a bit like gold prospecting, and you’ll have to sift through a lot of dirt to find the golden nuggets. But if you stick with it, what you’ll soon discover is that the exact same problems and frustrations come up over and over again. Different people, same struggles.

What you’re looking for are the most common, desperate problems that people struggle with in your niche. The more desperate people are to solve their problems, and the more common those problems are, the easier you’ll find it to sell your product.

Product creation. In terms of creating the product itself, there are two ways you can go. You can sell a “how to” ebook and/or video course for a one time fee (not recommended), or you can sell a membership subscription, where people pay a monthly fee to access regular, ongoing content.

I highly recommend the latter, because you’re building solid, consistent, passive income from day one. And if you’re in a popular niche, there’s no shortage of content that you can either create or license (interviews with experts, case studies, articles, videos, etc).

One other word of advice. If you’re just starting out, I highly recommend focusing on solving one problem per product. If you’re not sure what to write, then I recommend creating a case study on how you solved the problem(s). Or, if you’re building a membership site, then I recommend creating regular, ongoing case studies to keep your members engaged.

Creating your sales funnel. To create a winning product, you need a sales funnel in place that converts casual browsers into repeat customers. Once you’ve tested and optimized it for maximum conversions, it’s almost like having a license to print money.

In simple terms, you need:

1) A squeeze page to generate leads (email addresses)

2) A sales letter or video sales letter to convert leads into customers

3) And OTO’s (one time offers), affiliate offers, personal coaching and/or a done for you service to increase your sales and profits on the back end

Creating your squeeze page. Most people will tell you to offer something for free in exchange for your prospects email address. This is how the typical squeeze page works. In my opinion, and based on my actual experience, there’s a better way.

What I’ve found works best is to use a sneak peak of your product, or just explain what your product does, to entice people onto your list. That way, you’re not baiting and switching anyone, and you’re much less likely to attract freebie seekers.

For an example of a squeeze page that converts like crazy, even though I’m not giving ANYTHING away for free, check out my signature. As you can see, it’s just a quick video asking people to opt in to learn more. I’m not even using a headline, but it works.

Creating your sales letter. You don’t have to be John Carlton to write a sales letter that converts. I’m definitely not the world’s greatest copywriter (I wouldn’t even be so bold as to call myself a copywriter). If you get your niche and product right, the battle’s almost won … all that remains is to tip people over the edge.

This is just my opinion, but in my experience, most standard/typical sales letters don’t convert that well. What I’ve found works best is to immediately get to the point, tell people exactly what you have to offer, what it does, what problem(s) it solves and how (focusing on the key benefits and selling points). Also, it’s important to tell people that your product isn’t for everybody (no product or service is), so explain exactly who your product can and can’t help and why.

Use my video sales letter as an example. As you can see, it’s not complicated or fancy but I can tell you for a fact that it works. Just be honest and upfront with people about what you’re doing, what you’re after and how you can help them. But whatever you do, DON’T lie to people, don’t manipulate them and don’t try to be someone you’re not … because if you do, people will pick up on it, and your conversion rate will suffer as a result.

Finally, when you’ve made your pitch, offer your leads an ultimatum. Force them to make a decision on the spot. What I do is give people 24 hours to make up their mind. After that, if they’re still on the fence, I simply take them off my list. No point dealing with tyre kickers.

Crafting your back end. Unfortunately, you don’t make much money from your front end offer, especially if you’re paying for traffic. In fact, many top marketers lose money on the front end. So you need a profitable back end to make up the difference or to increase your sales and profits.

Luckily, this part is easy. What I do is upsell personal coaching and tools, products and services that people need to solve their problems. Also, since most of your customers are strapped for time, you can also upsell a done for you service (highly recommended) where you do everything for them for a fee.

Finally, get as much targeted traffic as possible. Once you have a profitable sales funnel in place that converts, the final step is to get as much targeted traffic as possible. Here’s what works best for me:

Free methods:

- Forum marketing (basically what I’m doing right now, helping people out on forums and then promoting your site in your signature)

- SEO (launch jacking works best, and it’s a great way to get the attention of product owners in your niche that you can joint venture with)

- Guest blogging (not only for lazer targeted, qualified traffic, but also for launch jacking. Just a few links from quality, relevant blogs is often enough to rank for competitive product names)

Paid methods:

- PPC

- Solo ads

- Media buys and banner advertising (highly recommended; the Google content network is still one of the best and largest sources of highly targeted, cheap, quality buyer traffic)

And that’s it. Again, it’s not rocket science. Sell information products to people who want to buy and can afford them, do it honestly and ethically, target repeat buyers, and use upsells to increase your sales and profits. It may not be a fancy schmancy method, but it works.

How To Make Money OnlineAnonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02294748870101771541noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1431988334247187012.post-47643060122981939062014-03-25T16:58:00.001-07:002014-03-25T16:58:18.647-07:00Copywrite your Sales to the Top!

Want to know how to sell anything online? Start improving your copywriting!

Great copy – copy that hits the primary pain points of your target audience and copy that espouses ‘Big Benefits’ that your primary market are looking for are undeniably effective in generating conversions.

I am about to show you a quick and deadly effective effective way to do both of the above.

The purpose of this exercise is going to be to increase the conversions of your

sales letters and sales videos FAR beyond the ‘industry standard’…

After all, why settle for ‘average’ when you don’t have to?

Ideal copy needs to influence the prospect toward a buying decision by positioning what you have to offer in the best light possible. In order to do this effectively, we need to utilize the features and benefits that will resonate the most with your target market.

Most marketers are well aware that benefits far outweigh features in the ‘copywriting heirarchy’. Benefits speak to emotions while features speak to logic.

Emotional arguments are far more persuasive than logical arguments. Most people buy ‘wants’ based purely on emotions.

As an example of a purely emotional advertisement, take a look at the ad for the new Mac Pro:

Do you think there is anything at all ‘logical’ about your sudden interest in owning the new Mac Pro the day it comes out?

Of course not!

The triggers in the ad are all emotional… sleek sexy design, countless desires that Apple has already en-grained into the public conscience through its incredible branding, and the ability to ‘instantly’ be a part of The Future Of Computing.

Purely emotional, and Apple is the best in the game at this type of emotionally driven advertising.

With copywriting, it is also true that the fear of loss is far more powerful than the hope/promise of gain. This is a basic human ‘primeval’ emotion.

It is far easier to get someone to be emotionally tied to something they have, love and have experienced before, and then warning them it could be gone in an instant, than it is telling someone about some benefit they may get at some point in the future.

To better illustrate this point, let’s take a look at two separate sets of headlines – one headline in each set based on ‘gain’ and one based on the fear of loss – YOU be the judge of which one is more powerful…

VS

The fear of loss is far more powerful and more ‘real’. It hits more emotional hot buttons. Very few people can relate to the feeling of windfalls of cash. A windfall of cash ‘might be’ nice, but not as ‘nice’ as being penniless definitely sucks.

Don’t believe me?

Run an experiment where you asked 100 people with equal net worth… say… $200,000 and tell them that you are willing to play a game with them for all their money.

Tell them you are going to flip a coin in the air and have it land on the ground. If it land ‘heads’ you will give them $1,000,000. If the penny lands tails, however, you would immediately take everything they owned in the world – their home, their cars, their savings, their retirement fund -everything and they would be left penniless and homeless on the street. How many people do you think would agree to the coin flip?

Even though ‘fear of loss’ is more powerful than ‘hope to gain’ copy, we want to make sure to include elements of both for for the biggest impact. ‘Fear of Loss’ elements are something that lots of marketers either aren’t aware of, or simply forget to incorporate into their copy.

They are missing out.

In order to craft extremely persuasive copy, we first need to take our niche, and derive 2 large ‘positive’ benefits and 2 large ‘negative’ benefits (loss avoidance elements).

Unless you know your niche extremely well, or you are your market, chances are you can’t really analyze your markets’ pain points very effectively as a rank outsider. In order to create persuasive copy – copy that actually converts – we need to really drill down the BIG BENEFITS of a particular niche or market that have the ability to turn prospects into customers with very little effort on our part.

Luckily, there is a very easy way to do this…

Visit a few niche sales letters, and grab some primary benefits that seem like they might be enticing to the niche – either in the headlines, the sub-heads or the bullet points. One of the best places to do this is at Clickbank.

Pick sales letters in your niche that are converting (the higher the gravity, usually the better they are converting) and pick out a few key benefits of the products that they are pitching.

Go through the top 5 sales letters of similar products being sold in a similar niche to yours. Start looking for common benefits amongst those sales letters/sales videos.

While you are doing that, remember to keep your eyes open for any interesting ‘fear of loss’ copy that you run across. You can ‘swipe’ the fear of loss stuff, switch it around, and add in a few elements that might tie into your offer, and you can use these ‘fear of loss’ pain points as powerful hooks in your copy.

If your niche is internet marketing, you might not need to do that much research. You probably already have a really good idea of what moves people that would be interested in biz opp and internet marketing products.

Two of the big desires in the internet marketing niche are:

Financial freedom

People want to Quit their jobs and work from home

Two other major desires of the internet marketing niche are:

Avoiding lots of hard, greuling and painful ‘work’

Avoiding the pain and humiliation of being forced to give up on internet marketing dream

So then, as you can see, ‘Big Benefits’ are really simple and straight forward to uncover for your niche. Just grab a few. That will suffice for now.

We are going to take these Major Niche Benefits and extract copy GOLD.

Once we have this list of niche benefits it’s time to DIG DOWN DEEP. What we want to do is dig down 3-4 levels to find the real motivating factors… the stuff that is the real emotional triggers behind these big niche benefits…

HERE’S HOW:

Once simple little word can uncover a lot: “Why?”

How exactly do we dig down and find the ‘why’s’ of our big niche benefits? We head right over to Google and ask of course!

Let’s start with the first big positive Benefit we talked about in the internet

marketing niche – the hope of, and desire for Financial Freedom.

Here is exactly how I would query Google – asking Google to bring back relevant results relating to ‘Why’ people actually desire Financial Freedom.

Remember – we are digging down deeper – much deeper – than just the skin deep, super-obvious benefits of our niche. We are uncovering very specific emotional triggers buried inside these larger, obvious ‘big niche benefits.’

Into Google I can type something similar to the following:

“What does Financial Freedom mean to you?”

Querying Google in this manner will lead us directly to the ‘Why’ people are looking for financial freedom. Everything we dig up with these results will be the 2nd level.

This stuff is great, but we will want to dig at least one level deeper still.

Of the answers we uncover at this level we are really looking for the stuff that is emotional – THOSE are the real gems. That is exatly the stuff that we are looking for.

The ‘why’s’ that are emotional reasons for wanting financial freedom. Logical reasons can be good as well, but the highly emotional stuff is the real gold…

Here are the answers that we end up with. Going through the results on the first page of Google as to WHY people want financial freedom, we end up with the following:

To help protect against ‘worst case’ financial scenarios

To build a secure financial base for my family

The ability to do exactly what I want with my time

Not being burdened down with the stresses of money – owing someone, late bills, disconnect notices, and having to go without.

Now, those answers are great – powerful, and a lot of emotion tied up in them – But – Let’s Keep going a bit and dig even further…

We want to dig down to the “Third Level” – THIS is where the really powerful emotional triggers can be found…

Let’s start with the desire to protect again the worst possible case financial disaster…

To dig down another level, remember, we need to ask ‘Why’?

To protect against the Worst Case – WHY? – You could lose ALL your money – WHY?= financial insurance. Financial insurance is a very good ‘why’ but it’s simply a bit too logical. We are looking for something more emotional…

The ‘worst case’ we are trying to protect against as well as ‘financial insurance’ would both be to protect against the exact same thing:

The possibility of being poor and not having any money!

Ahhhhh…there we go… NOW we are getting somewhere. That is a strong level 2 emotional trigger. The fear of lack. The fear of being without money. The fear of being poor…

Again, that is very powerful indeed, but we still want to keep digging. We are still only at level 2. We want to uncover the emotional trigger gold buried beneath level 2…

Here is what I queried Google With to get to level 3:

“WHY does being poor s****”

Here are the answers we are given:

The bank can hit you with a $35 fine for every charge that comes in while your account is in negative territory. The bank will not tell you they charged you this money. You will have no idea anything is wrong – until you check your balance that is. Now we are getting somewhere! When you are poor (as many people have been before OR are currently) you get hit with nasty over-draft fees each time you over-draw your checking account!

This is EXTREMELY emotional for most people. A REAL pain point…

Here are some more ‘Why’s’ – more reasons that being poor sucks….

The Constant threat of the Utility companies shutting off the — Phone — Water — Power —

YES. These are VERY real and extremely emotional triggers for many many people…

What if someone who lived in near constant fear of those horrible threats to their basic necessities could AVOID those threats forever, and NEVER have to deal with them again?

If we could craft a hook in our sales letter that talked directly to these people – a method, a step-by-step blueprint, a real PLAN to ensure that they would never again lack the necessary funds to take care of the basic utilities they needed in their lives and in their households – for themselves and their families, do you think you would have the attention (and interest) of that group of people if you had an offer that could back up the promise?

Problems paying Bills/Loans/Credit card on time = suffering from the stigma of Bad Credit. This can be a huge problem when trying to get a job -OR- trying to secure a line of credit when you really need it.

YES. Again, this is a VERY powerful reality for millions of people. You don’t even need to be ‘poor’ to experience credit problems and late payments (necessarily).

Most people who have had credit problems in the past, and found out in person how horrible it is, and how difficult it makes your life would do anything to avoid having more dinged credit/calls from creditors/letters from creditors in the mail EVER again…

Let’s play around with this extreme pain point – hitting on the ‘bad credit avoidance’ angle and see what we come up with.

Imagine the following letter were directed at homeowners who were a minimum of 60 days late on their mortgage payments. What if you had an offer that could help them bring their bills current and help them to get out from underneath the crushing mountain of debt they were living with each and every day…

Are you starting to see how powerful this stuff can be?

Obviously that was just an example I crafted around a couple of 3rd level ‘Why’s’ but it’s easy to see how copy built around a few of these very deep, emotional, 3rd level pain points or benefits can lead to some extremely compelling, emotionally driven copy.

You might not be able to provide for your family. This is extremely emotional and a HUGE motivator for many people – especially men that are the ‘head of a household’ – They view it as their responsibility to make sure that food is on the table, basic necessities are met and the lights stay on -

Again – this is very powerful and extremely emotional

You risk (or are forced into) homelessness – Yeah. Some poor people are Also homeless! Being homeless brings up a whole new host of problems that most people try to avoid thinking about at al costs. Lets put it this way – people would do ANYTHING to avoid being homeless-

- You will lose your job, and probably NOT be able to get another decent job

- You will lose your wife, your kids and your family

- You will be cold in the winter, possibly get sick and die – and you will have [b]NO medical treatment

- Would be very painful…

- Emotionally distressing

- People immediately Judge you if you are homeless..

- People who are homeless their lives often spiral out of control because they start to lose hope…

etc etc etc…

This are all highly emotional, deep seated reasons that people would do anything to avoid being poor and penniless and all of the problems that not having any money brings along with it.

If you can just touch on some of them – or let people know that there is a definitive way that they can avoid these common problems – Letting them know there is hope – and there is a way that they can avoid worrying about these issues – this will for EXTREMELY powerful copy in the right niches and with the right audience.

All of this is just from going 3 levels deep on ONE of the ‘Why’s’ we came up with on ONE of the major ‘niche benefits’ — Imagine how much more GOLD you could extract by going 3 levels deep with more big benefits and more ‘why’s'?

Even digging 3 levels deep with just a few of these major niche benefits/pain-points, do you think we could now craft some copy slightly more compelling than:

“Get Financial Freedom”….

Of course we can! All it takes is a little bit of digging.

I think you will agree, by adding some ’3rd level’ benefits, our headline automatically become far more captivating and interesting.

In addition with all of these 3rd level benefits that we have taken the time to

uncover, we now use as KILLER ammunition for the body of the sales letter and/or bullet points!

We can use these 3rd level benefits as powerful questions/imagery with two of my favorite modifiers -

“Imagine” and “What if”…

like this:

- Image what it would be like to easily and effortlessly be able to tackle the next financial ‘emergency’ that came your way? Instead of being forced to over-draf your checking account to pay for that blown out tire, you could simply dip into your 5 figure emergency cash fund and take care of the fix -without thinking twice!

- What if, instead of the constant worry and angst of losing your job due to ‘downsizing’ you were so confident, and so secure in the multiple auto-pilot streams of income constantly stuffing your bank account with cold hard cash that you could simply kiss your lousy boss ‘good riddance’ forever?

These questions/statements paint powerful pictures in your prospects minds and allow them to visualize something that they themselves may have never even thought was possible before.

I sincerely hope some of these tips help you to create some incredibly compelling copy in your niche!

Copywrite your Sales to the Top!Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02294748870101771541noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1431988334247187012.post-48909664081073192862014-03-24T16:40:00.001-07:002014-03-24T16:40:55.608-07:00Best Free Online Storage!

Best Free Online Storage!

Hello dear followers!

Today I want to share with you the greatest free online stroage provider available.

We all know about dropbox… well 2 GB isn’t that much. To be exact it merely is 10% of what copy.com offers you.

Box is a nice free cloud storage system as well, but come on. 5 GB? Not enough I say!

Mega offers enough storage space but in my eyes it is a very unsafe option. Mega is the new born brother of the banned MegaUpload and therefore I can’t recommend it.

And there are dozens of other either too small or too unserious online storage providers. By far the best free online storage I have come across is copy.com! I am going to tell you what makes copy.com so great:

Why is copy.com the best online cloud storage system?

Advantages of “Copy” Online Cloud:

15 GB free storage space!

even 20 GB free online storage space if you follow my link!

You can share your files with friends or the public

You can privately share files with other users

Very easy to use

100% privacy and no spam

Oh and did I mention that it is completly free?

Disadvantages of this specific free cloud service?

Sign up with copy.com and claim your 20 GB free space right now. If you friends join under your referral link (for example https://copy.com?r=f6AKBH is mine) they also get 20 GB of space instead of just 15 GB.

Ok I am rambling… 350 is the recommended minimum word count for blog posts so google, yahoo and other search engines show it some love, but I ran out of ideas. Everything that needed to be said, has been said already. Therefore I am going to use my last couple of words to stuff in some keywords, people might be looking for. So here it comes… What is the best free online cloud? Well, it is by far the top free online storage that you will find if you follow my copy link. If you haven’t seen it look up. How to store files online and what is the best and safest way to store my files online? In the copy free cloud. Ok… this is getting pathetic… That’s why I am telling you, that one of my new books will be released in about 2 weeks. You can follow its success and stay updated. The news is going to follow on my blog.

Thank you for reading and enjoy your awesome new free online storage space!

Best Free Online Storage!
Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02294748870101771541noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1431988334247187012.post-51529747272049462682014-03-22T07:52:00.001-07:002014-03-22T07:52:24.930-07:00XMLRPC URL Error

XMLRPC URL WordPress

What is an XMLRPC URL anyway?

And why do I get the “Oops!Unable to post to blog service: Didn’t receive 200 OK from remote server.” error?

I have no clue. I don’t know it exactly and I don’t need to know it. The only thing I know is, that you need the XML-RPC URL to be able to post various entries to your WordPress .com blog. For example AudioBlogs or with the neat Social Poster plugin.

It took me a while to find out what this is and how I can get WordPress XML-RPC URL but finally I managed to figure it out. The solution is as easy as humanly possible.

How to enable WordPress XMLRPC URL?

Are you running WordPress 3.5 or higher? (you should). If the answer is YES, then XMLRPC URL is enabled by default. Just follow my next steps.

How to get XMLRPC URL for WordPress?

Whenever your programs or plugins ask you for your WordPress XMLRPC URL, in order to post various stuff on your behalf automatically, you simply enter you WordPress.com Blog address and add /xmlrpc.php at the end.

Example:

I have a plugin that needs the WordPress XMLRPC URL, so it can automatically post excerpts from my real blog on the free WP blog. My WordPress Blog Address is http://nickcnobles.wordpress.com

Now I need to add /xmlrpc.php at the end of my URL and it should work. In my case I enter:

http://nickcnobles.wordpress.com/xmlrpc.php

Working!

This is the fix for: “Oops! XML-RPC URL for HootSuite is enabled by default. Simply insert http://nickcnobles.wordpress.com/xmlrpc.php

when asked for your XMLRPC URL. Just enter this exact address if your blog is called http://nickcnobles.wordpress.com which is highly unlikely though. Insert your own blog name and get started connecting your HootSuite account to WordPress

What to do when I still get an XMLRPC URL error?

Here is something I found online that might help you:

So after a long email conversation back and forth it seems for us the issue is network related. Some where down the line before you get to WP's servers provided by provider Peer 1 the connection gets refused.

If you do a tracert from the server in question or from the client (depending on who can't reach WP), you'll notice that the ip address changes about 3 times (do the tracert more than once), this is what I believe is WP's load balancing cluster (nginx).

I found two of the three IP addresses reject my incoming request, but the third will let me in and post via xmlrpc, making it like Russian roulette. And of course if you get the two addresses that reject, you have to wait until the DNS lookup expires to try again (from your browser).

What I did to patch it so to speak was use our host lookup file in Ubuntu (server edition) and route our blog to the one address that works. Although this kinda duct tapes the service together, it will work.

Unfortunately for a lot of bloggers, you may be using a shared hosting plan, which will not give you access via SSH to change the hosts file. You might have to contact your help desk to see if they can fix the issue for you.

XMLRPC URL ErrorAnonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02294748870101771541noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1431988334247187012.post-32650618052098114392014-03-22T07:11:00.001-07:002014-03-22T07:11:50.486-07:00http://www.nickcnobles.com
I focus on teaching you blog basics, ebook basics, how to write eBooks, how to self-publish eBooks, Blackhat SEO vs Grayhat SEO vs Whitehat SEO and much more.

Tutorials on how to write fiction, how to write non-fiction and how to write erotic fiction and sex fiction.

I also offer you valuable insights on Social Media Optimization.

Come and visit my fast growing blog!

Live the WriterLs Lifestyle

My mission is to show you how to make money blogging. Here is my take on how I and all my fellow author colleagues can profit from Stephen R. Covey´s knowledge.

7 Habits of Highly Effective Authors, Habit #1: Be Proactive

Our life doesn´t just randomly happen. We make our life happen! The only person responsible for crafting your luck and success in any area of life is YOU!

This habit is about accepting 100% responsibility. For your life. For your decisions. For your actions.

Your last book didn´t sell? Take a look at your critics and improve your book. Change your rubbish cover. Do what you should have done months ago, start promoting your book. Be proactive, not reactive. Take action now and change the outcome and therefore your life!

“My book didn´t sell because of the bad economy” “People just don´t like the genre” “The work I outsourced was done poorly”… Your excuses have no place in the writer´s mindset. There are 7 habits of highly effective authors and guess what. Blaming anyone else than yourself is not one of them!

It is a natural and physical law that every action must always lead to a reaction. Do you even realize the most powerful and liberating thing in life? YOU CHOOSE YOUR REACTION! Nobody else can do this for you. Either you react by blame circumstances, locking yourself in the cellar and crying. Or you choose to accept full responsibility for your mistakes and proactively look for ways to fix your mistakes.

Always think positive and act proactive.

Example: My book is not selling well. People complain about formatting mistakes and bad flow.

Option 1 is to say: These fools don´t know anything about the fine and ancient art of the written word. To hell with them! Option 1,5 would be to let these critics devastate you so hard that you lose and abandon all hope. Because you think you have no way of influencing and changing your critics to the better.

Yes, 10% of the people in the world are psychopaths. They will hate you even if you are at no fault. Reactive people will worry too much about these people. Listen up. You can´t and won´t change them. So please ignore them.

Option 2 is to pull the pen out of your pants and start making necessary changes to your book. Think to yourself, well, I have done a mistake but I am man/woman enough to admit it, take responsibility for it and change it. I learn and improve by facing my mistakes. Remember the old Marine saying: Adapt, improvise, overcome. Make use of it.

Non-reactive or proactive people will focus on changing things they have control over.

Which one do you think is going to take you closer to the path of success? I´ll let you be the judge of that.

Habit #1 of the 7 habits of highly effective authors conclusion: Be proactive not reactive. Accept full responsibility for your actions and mistakes. Seek to change the things within your circle of influence. Don´t worry about the circumstances you have no influence at all.

7 Habits of Highly Effective Authors, Habit #2: Begin with the End in Mind

Why do you write? To spend your time on higher tasks than watching brainless television soaps? Do you want to create a nice second flow of income for yourself and your family? Do you want to prove to someone that you have the mindset, willpower required to be an author? As you can see the reasons behind it are unlimited (I went berserk and had to delete around 12 other reasons… oh boy…). You have to decide for yourself where you are going with your writing enterprise.

I´m pretty sure you already have a good idea on the meaning of the second of the 7 habits of highly effective authors. But let me clarify this point. You need to start your tasks with goals in mind.

“Our plans miscarry because they have no aim. When a man does not know what harbor he is making for, no wind is the right wind.” – Lucius Annaeus Seneca

Does the lack of wind lead you towards your goal? You can argue but in this case, wind blowing in the wrong direction is better than no wind and therefore no progress at all. Don´t take this as an excuse though. You need to have clear written goals. You need to write down your goals. Goals that are not written down are merely wishes.

You have heared this phrase I assume but also there is an exception. When you have such a huge and burning desire in your head, you don´t have just goals. You have a vision. And vision always beats goals by a large margin! XXX Belfort

My structure tip to get the most out of #2 of 7 habits of highly effective authors is following this scheme:

Every success starts with a vision. You need a book idea and a clear and powerful vision. Now you will want to formulate goals about what you want to achieve. Time for a business plan. Yes, that´s right. You are writing a book and now you start by writing a business plan.

Congratulations. You are done dreaming, goal setting and visioning. Now go out there and do what needs to be done. No excuses! Write your book with the burning desire to achieve your goal, every second you spend writing, researching or promoting your book. Never lose your goal out of sight. Always begin working with the end in mind.

Habit #2 of the 7 habits of highly effective authors conclusion: Be like water. Think of your goals as the Gefäß and writing as the water. If you… h2o becomes… What is the water going to become, if you have no Gefäß? XXX Lee

7 Habits of Highly Effective Authors, Habit #3: Put First Things First

Are you aware of the fastest growing disease in our modern time? No, not bird flu, like that huge media and pharmacy con made us believe. It´s the burnout syndrome. Many people suffer from it and many more are endangered.

Last year I attended a very informative 2-day seminar on burnout causes and prevention, by Dr. Marco Freiherr von Münchhausen. I won´t go into much detail but what I want to pass the centrepieces on to you. Eat healthy, take time for yourself, perform one relaxing ritual each day, pay attention to your work – life – balance, physical exercise and the most important part… delegate, outsource or abandon tasks of minor importance.

In order to not run the risk of suffering a massive burnout blow you seriously need to put some thought into the tasks you do. I have a very interesting fact for you. The group where burnout rages the most is not amongst managers.

They possess a skill that is invaluable for this habit. I don´t think that many of you have ever been to a higher level management assessment center or job interview but I´m going to tell you one skill that is required. The mastery of priority setting. In this situation they might give you a premade eMail account with various tasks and issues that need to be addressed. Your job is to sort them by relevance. Do it yourself, now. Do it yourself, later. Outsource. Abandon.

There is an awesome model called the 4 D´s. The corner stones are: Do (Do it yourself, now), Delay (Do it yourself, later), Delegate (Outsource), Drop (Abandon)

Example: Your informative non-fiction eBook is not selling well. People are giving it bad reviews because of poor grammar. Others give your book good reviews but claim that they feel, that you have missed some points. One guy is mad because you link back to your blog a couple of times.

DO! Someone critizes your bad grammar? Improve your work immediately. Start working on this now. This is critical and needs to be addressed as soon as humanly possible.

DELEGATE! Your book is not selling that well. Consider lowering prices and promoting your book. This is not that urgent at the moment (read: at the moment). Since you are an inexperienced author in this example, you will want to outsource this to fiverr for maximum effect. The sellers there have more experience and you need to focus your time on improving your book anyway. Comparative economic advantage comes to mind.

DELAY! A handful of people have claimed that you failed to discuss a specific point in your book. Is it important? Of course, you need to fix this. Customer service is a very important aspect. Since this might take a while for research, formatting, editing and so on it won´t be possible to fix this on the spot. Therefore delay it and focus on the most important task at hand. In this case fixing the grammatical disaster.

DROP! Someone complained that the only reason you wrote your non-fiction information eBook was to promote the paid membership on your blog. Now there are 2 options. 1) Yes, he is right. 2) No, he is wrong. Drop this matter and don´t waste a single thought on it. (If promoting your other products is not your main goal with the book. BUT that guy is right, ergo it really feels like you are just promoting your brand…. well… get your stuff together. That´s not a drop matter in this case)

XXX IMporant, urgent, not urgent, not important, feels urgent, not urgent

Habit #3 of the 7 habits of highly effective authors conclusion: Take a look at the steps you need to take to reach your goal. Seperate them into the 4 D categories. Start with the Do, then the Delegate, then the Delay. And Drop it like it´s hot.

7 Habits of Highly Effective Authors, Habit #4: Think Win-Win

Our society has led us to believe an interesting but plain wrong thing. It´s my way or the highway. Unfortunately we are made to believe that one can only win, when someone else loses.

From the biological and evolutional viewpoint this makes sense. When an animal sees a specimen XXX it has the choice to either fight or cooperate. If a lion runs into another lion in his territory it usually ends in a fight. Why? Because most animals are not smart and don´t possess the complex brain we humans call our own. All they see is an intruder who competes with them for their tastey gazelles XXX. It doesn´t even cross their mind, that they would be way better off hunting game together.

Another unfortunate fact is, that we humans evolved too fast for our brain and body to catch up. This is the reason why we have wisdom teeth (you can´t chew raw meat as easy as cooked 3 week dry-aged ribeye steak). The reason why many people are lactose intolerant (animal milk wasn´t found on many stoneage meal plans). The reason why it still is hard for us to grasp that cooperation beats competition.

For this reason we need to seek mutually benificial relationships and agreements with our fellow earth inhabitants. Please don´t get me wrong here. You need to focus on your gain and benefit first. A win – win situation is not all about you being nice and putting your needs in queue.

No, win – win is a cooperative game. A mindset if you will. The mindset of trying to constantly improve your position but also trying to provide your partner with the benefits he is XXXsehnen for.

An important part is staying true to yourself and your core values. Don´t get tempted to do anything that contradicts with your moral believes. Take into account other persons feelings. Don´t think too much about the negatives. There is enough air for everyone to breathe and you won´t be left out in the rain. On the other hand always make sure to take precautions. Especially when outsourcing and going to publishers. Unfortunately there are many scammers around so take care.

Sometimes a win – win situation is not possible. In this case it usually is the best to drop the whole deal and to not waste precious time, energy and nerves.

A win-win situation in the 7 habits of highly effective authors could mean an exchange of blog links. A mutual promotion with a fellow writer. You advertise his book and he does the same with yours.

Finding a great professional who you can delegate your tasks to and get quality work back. A publisher who promotes and sells your book and pays you a nice percentage of the profits.

Habit #4 of the 7 habits of highly effective authors conclusion:

7 Habits of Highly Effective Authors, Habit #5: Seek First to Understand, Then to Be Understood

Did your parents ever tell you, that it´s important to be a good listener? This is true but also a huge understatement. Being a good listener is one of the most important skills any person in any field can call their own. Listening is the single most powerful tool when it comes to understanding your fellow people. Utilizing the 7 habits of highly effective authors gains so much monumentum by being a good listener, it would be foolish to not improve yourself in this area.

Communication is the key to everything in life. Friends, marriages, business, networking, selling and of course writing. And what is the most important part of communication? Listening!

First you must seek to truly understand another person. Before this point no honest, and most importantly, effective communication can happen.

Ever heard of the doctor who prescribes medicine before having done a full in-depth check up and diagnosis? Don´t be this guy. This is a short, simple but also really spot on.

Any idea how ethical selling works? First you qualify your customer. Does he have a need for this product. Can he affort it. Is it even suitable for him?

How can you find out whether this applies and your potential buyer would benefitr for your product? Either you can pick up clues and make assumptions. Or you start listening to him. This would be the preferred method.

So how does this apply to us? The writer faction?

We need to listen to our customers needs. That´s more easily said than done though. How can we achieve this? I am going to give you a practical example.

You have a great idea and want to write a book about sleeping disorders. Insomnia. How would you start writing it? I recommend you check some forums and conduct a google search for people with said disorder. You read through a couple of pages and find out what bothers them the most about insomnia. What questions do they have? Did you notice questions that have been asked mutliple times? If so write these questions down and answer them in your book.

This is a great way to make your reader feel like he is being listened to. If he reads your book and his conclusion is: “wow, this was really insightful. All my questions have been answered. Even areas have been covered I didn´t think about.” Then you have done a great job.

Telling your reader that he is brave for reading your book and taking action is a great asset to utilize too. If you do this your reader will not only feel like that you heed his problems. He will also feel appreciated. Just pick up any psychology book and read through it what human beings strife for. The most likely answer you will find is that people want to be appreciated and listened to. Utilize this knowledge for your books.

Don´t just write a book for the sake of writing a book or making money. This is not the most ethical approach you can have. Focus on satisfying customer needs and not your money needs. If you managed to win over customers and establish a loyal readership, the money will flow automatically. Word of mouth can be your most valuabe marketing asset.

If you write for your own profit and for your profit only, it will show. Every single sentence you write will ooze from your profit intentions. Readers will feel tricked into buying your product and you can forget good reviews and abandon all hope for word of mouth recommendations.

Why would they buy the book if they don´t feel understood and appreciated by the author? I can tell you the reason. Impulse buys. If you have a neat little cover, some bought reviews and a tricky descriptions you will still sell your book. But ask yourself. Is this a business model that is sustainable or ethical?

Many gurus and blackhatters recommend you to make use of techniques like these. Write a book in 48h. Write a book in 10 days etc. Don´t listen to them. Don´t give them your hard earned money. It seems to be a modern trend to dish out as much trash as humanly possible. A get rich over night scheme.

Publishing eBooks is not a get rich quick scheme! It is a substainable business that needs time to florish. Don´t rush it or you will pay the consequences!

People who want everthing don´t get far in this business. Listening and trying to satisfy every customers need and wish is the foundation of success. Just like the low ground who forms the foundation of a high elevation.

Habit #5 of the 7 habits of highly effective authors conclusion: Learn from your readers and involve them! If you merely tell them, they will forget. Teach them, they might remember. But involve them and they will learn and profit. If they feel understood and recognized they will become your most loyal customers.

7 Habits of Highly Effective Authors, Habit #6: Synergize

“The whole is greater than the sum of its parts.”

- Aristotele

The term self-made millionaire gets thrown around a lot. Though it can be decieving. Almost nobody is a real self-made millionaire in the sense of having achieved everything alone. Like it or not but you are highly dependet on other people.

Almost everyone can only achieve his goals and function on his highest level if he has some kind of support. It doesn´t matter where you get your support from, but it is vital. Fanbase support, a wife that pushes you, friends, family or a “group of thinkers”.

If you have friends who own businesses or want to start their own enterprises it is a great idea to meet once a fortnight or more often. Form your own group of thinkers. Many brains are better than one. Push each other. Critique each other. Motivate each other. Achieve success together!

It doesn´t matter wether you interact with your group of thinkers or with a stranger or business partner. You will disagree on many topics. This might seem like an annoyance in some cases but in others it can be a godsend. Sometimes people need to face the harsh reality, if they are about to sink like the titanic and haven´t even seen the iceberg.

Take the person who disagrees with you and try to step into their shoes. Why do they have a different view? Try to figure it out and use it as a stepping stone to find a third alternative solution.

So next time you disagree with somebody, try to view things how the view it. Think of their concerns and address them in a mutually benificial manner. This way you can even profit from people who annoy you or always disagree with you. Learn to value the differences.

Take a look at some of your bad reviews. As stupid as they may sound, there just might be a grain of truth behind them. Try to contact them, ask for further details and then express your intention of fixing the misunderstandings.

Habit #6 of the 7 habits of highly effective authors conclusion: Value different opinions. This is the true essence of synergy. If two people have the excact same views on something…. one person of them is unnecessary. Work together with your friends and “enemies” (critics) to improve your work and life.

7 Habits of Highly Effective Authors, Habit #7: Sharpen your Saw

Imagine your mind as a saw. An awesome, expensive saw that can cut down the mightiest tree. You constantly use this saw to achieve greatness.

You make your living by cutting down trees. The saw is vital in this process. Therefore you need to make sure to keep your saw as sharp and intact as possible.

When you buy your saw it is still in a raw state and you have to make adjustments to it. You need to sharpen it. The only way to use that saw to its full potential is by keeping it sharp. If you don´t take care of it, you will waste countless of hours trying to chop down a tree. Taking time off to sharpen it, even though you need to spend some time on it, is going to improve your productivity and success by a huge margin.

How does this apply to our minds? Let´s put aside our metaphor for now.

Number 1) Educate yourself! You need to constantly keep moving. Standing still means stepping back (this phrase sounds so much better in German). Look to expand your knowledge on a daily basis. Set aside at least 30 minutes for learning each and every day, no matter what. Do this for a month and it will become a habit.

Educate yourself. Learn new things and techniques. Read an informative book, listen to audio recordings and watch videos of motivational speakers etc. Don´t come up with excuses. If you are tired, sick or not motivated force yourself to at least listen to an audio recording.

It doesn´t even have to be in your field of work. Go buy/download a couple of sales audio files. Selling is required in every area of life. Including writing. Just make sure to learn something new every day.

Number 2) Renew yourself!

Spend some time on rituals to refuel your body and soul. I recommend you participate in each of the 4 categories every day.

Physical:

Healthy Food and Exercise

Social

Networking, Chatting with Friends and Family

Mental:

Writing, Reading, Brain Storming

Spiritual:

A walk in nature, Meditation, Music, Praying, Helping Others

Sharpening the saw helps you recharging your batteries. It will be so much easier for you to master your life if you can function your best. Failing at doing so will result in a destructive exploitation of your bodys resources.

Let´s dig deeper into the 4 categories.

Physical sharpening: Endurance, Flexibility, Strength, Health, Energy

Endurance comes from aerobic and anaerobic exercise. Running, swimming, cycling and so on. You don´t need to be able to run the marathon in under 3 hours, but exercising has a great effect on your whole body. Not only will your heart thank you, but you will always be less sick and mentally stronger.

Flexibility is achieved by stretching. Before, after and sometimes during your workout. While it´s not that important it reduces the risk of injury. Why the hell is Nick writing about doing sports and preventing injury anyway, you might ask yourself? Well, my site is called the writer’s LIFESTYLE. I don´t want to exclusively teach you how to make a living with writing. I also assume that at some point of your life you are going to go for a walk, travel, participate in social sporting events and so on.

Strenght comes from resistance training. Having muscles doesn´t just serve the purpose of making your stronger. It also prevents you from injuries, they burn fat and on a sidenote, looking like a young Greek god also has its advantages.

Health is determined by your genetics. Unless you are a mad scientist you will have a hard time influencing and modifying your genetics. That only leaves one option open. You need to work on improving your overall health. Eat healthy, avoid soft drinks, exercise from time to time, cut back on the drugs you toxicate your body with. Drink enough water.

Energy is the inevitable result of the 4 factors mentioned above.

I recommend a full-body workout with all the major compound movements. My training plan consists of bench pressing, squats, deadlifts, pull ups and dips. Short streching before and after warm-up sets. Afterwards either running or boxing. 1-2x a week is enough to see results and feel much better overall.

A last warning. Never do compound movements without first consulting your doctor and learning the right technique from your gym trainer.

Your body is the temple that houses your mind. Keep that in mind the next time you are too tired to exercise.

Our social dimension is determined by our social circle. By our friends and family. A study determined that you need at 6 close friends to reach the optimum social happiness.

Go watch football, visit a concert, go out to a restaurant etc. Spend time with the people you love and your batteries recharge. You will never hear of a person who lives isolated in his cellar, never goes out and claim to be happy. We humans are very social beings and having contact to other people is a must.

The spiritual aspect is your soul, your core, your dedication to your values. I can´t guide you on what YOU have to personally do to recharge your spiritual batteries. Everyone knows what´s best for himself. You don´t need an enhanceviews bot, all the work is done for you.

The huge advantage here is that it is extremely easy to use. Simply click this link and sign up under my affiliate link. Enter the usual… email, account name, password. Link: Enhance Views

When you are done and verified your e-mail address you can start earning points on auto pilot.

Click the tab “Earn free credits” and you will see this dropdown box. You can choose the platform you want to earn points for.

Twitter & Reddit Likes

Click Twitter and authorize an application. Just click accept, you will be redirected back and can start the process. The bot will automatically follow twitter accounts.

Same with Reddit. It will ask you to enter your account details and then it goes into autopilot to earn you Reddit points.

Open Twitter in one tab and Reddit in another tab. That way you can earn points for both.

Unfortunately you will need to check on the progress every let´s say 20 minutes because the bot tends to time out frequently.

Facebook & YouTube Likes

For Facebook and YouTube you will need to download an application called enhanceviews autowatcher. I virus checked it and everything is clean.

Install and start. Then press options and enter your details.

Enter your YouTube and Facebook details and click “Save Options”. Now you are ready to earn Facebook and Youtube Autolikes. Click start and watch the magic happen.

I have no idea how the Instagram Free Auto Likes work. I am not a fan of this hipster platform, never used it and never will so I have no chance of testing it.

Redeem your Points

After you have let the bot run a couple of hours you can start using your earned points. To do so go here:

Now you can easily enter you URLs that link to the chosen social media profiles. A nice feature is that you can choose to add a delay, so the platforms don´t get suspicious. Very easy to use.

Things to keep in mind

You should really consider creating new fake accounts for the platforms you want to use this tool for. You don´t need the spam or even possible ban to affect your main account.

This homepage is 100% free and 100% safe to use. 100% legit autolikes.

You need to keep in mind that you can only use your earned points on the specific platforms. You can´t use YouTube credits for Facebook likes. Only Facebook credits for Facebook likes.

Enhanceviews BotAnonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02294748870101771541noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1431988334247187012.post-22943801312576429292014-03-13T09:52:00.001-07:002014-03-13T09:52:10.306-07:00Use Forums to Promote your Blog
Use Forums to Promote Your Blog

Having a blog is almost essential. It let’s you promote your products and services and channels a lot of attention to your business. You can promote your products and work, whether as a painter, artist, photographer, salesman or writer.

Maybe the attention generated from your blog even gets you a job related to the things that you love.

Other uses for blogs are that you can freely express yourself and keep your relatives and friends updated on the goings on in your life. Just like social media it can be great if you live far away from them and can´t communicate with your relatives and friends that often.

However like I said, a blog can be a great and easy way for you to earn money, over and above mere expression, self-promotion and affiliate programs.

Moreover the more visitors you have, the greater the chance that your ads get clicked and that you earn comissions.

Hence you will need to drive more and more people to your blog. Not just to earn money but also to get attention. After all, if your blog is interesting enough, you may get a lot of people backlinking to you and sharing your content. A great way to promote your blog is through posting on forums.

If you are interested in posting on forums – you should – and spreading your word, and if you want to get your blog noticed, then you will be interested in my following tips.

A word of advice is that these are only a few tips to help you on your way to massive blog attention, and you need to learn on your own along the way and experience your own lessons.

Tips for Promoting your Blog

Tip #1: Mainly post in forums that you actually are interested in!

Believe it or not, your level of expertise and interest in a topic shine through your posts. If people take notice that you are interested in the forum topic, you may get more attention than people just reading your forum post. They will follow the link in your signature to find out more about you

Tip #2: Post in forums whose topics are related to your blogging topic!

This can be critical when dealing with die-hard fans of a certain field because posting off-topic posts will be distracting. Not only that but you will soon find yourself banned from those forums.

Tip #3: Be “dignified” enough to spell right!

Don´t rush your posts. Shortcuts have the power to make any texts almost unreadable and very annoying. If you make the effort to write your blog, make an effort to write well on forums as well. Otherwise you will find it harder to invite people to read and participate in your blog. Why in 3 devils name would they read your blog when they can’t even understand what you are posting on the forum? Don´t write to impress the readers with your intelligence. Too many books and articles are written this way. Don´t be a show off.

Tip #4: Offer help and advice to forum members!

When they ask for it and need it be there to answer them. Remember that people don´t care about what you have to say and sell until they realize that you care about them first.

Tip #5: Optimize your blog first!

Before you focus on writing forum posts, focus on your own blog. It makes no sense to spend hours on forums, posting random things and promoting your blog, if your blog is empty.

First make sure that you offer quality advice in your blog that people are interested in reading and then you can focus on promoting it

Tip #6: Aim for the biggest forums!

This is an obvious but overlooked tip. Don´t spend countless hours building authorship in forums with less than at least 5,000 members.

Tip #7: Include your blog link in your signature!

Avoid inserting your link into your posts. You will come across as a spammer who is only trying to promote his site.

Though there is an exception. If you already are well-known in forums and have the reputation of offering good advice, you can also embed your blog link in your replies.

Tip #8 Make friends with senior forum members!

If they have a lot of authority go ahead and PM them (write them a private message). Tell them your views, ask them to participate in your discussions etc. Befriending them opens a lot of doors. You can even ask them to write a review of your blog on the forum.

Tip #9: Start controversial topics!

If you get a lot of people to respond and participate in your own started threads, guess what, you will get much more eyes that see and ultimately click your link.

Tip #10: Don´t be afraid to spam,

if you don´t care about a forum too much. I really recommend this only if you are looking for some fast clicks. This is no long time solution and I focus on why spamming is bad in this article (coming soon).

Tip #11: Start necroing!

Dig out old threads with a lot of responses and reply to them. Everyone who is subscribed to these threads will be notified of your reply and is likely to view your post.

Tip #12: Write brief but informative answers!

Many people, me included, simply are too lazy to read a monster paragraph. Keep it short and simple.

Tip #13: Stay tuned!

If you open a thread or post a good reply, subscribe to the threads and do a follow-up. Answer any new questions or suggestions. This is a great way to constantly use forums to promote your blog!

Tip #14: Create a fancy profile!

Add a picture if possible. Fill out information like hometown, interests etc. This will make you look more humane.

Tip #15: Fit in!

Adapt to the forum style line. Look at senior members. How does their profile look? How did they design their signature? How long are their answers? Copy them as good as you can to fit in.

Now you know how to use forums to promote your blog. Drive traffic to your blog by guest posting on forums now!

Use Forums to Promote your BlogAnonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02294748870101771541noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1431988334247187012.post-33425721710103748892014-03-13T09:18:00.001-07:002014-03-13T09:18:21.142-07:00Do I Need WhoIs Domain Privacy?
Do I need Whois Domain Privacy?

Yes! Are you an author and writing under a pen name? If your pen name is John Smith and your domain runs under Marius Bogizianidis, people will be confused, as you can expect. Since you are required to offer your “real” contact details, you need Whois Domain Privacy to run a site under a pen name.

So you really need Whois Domain Privacy for a pen name homepage!

Do you need Whois Domain Privacy if you don´t use a pen name?

Yes! Otherwise the whole world can look up your home address and other very personal details.

If you are in the Internet Marketing business do you need whois domain privacy?

Since it makes it harder for other marketers ergo your competitors to spy on you, it is recommended.

I only run legit, quality sites and always use my real name. Do I need Whois Domain Privacy?

If you don´t fear stalkers or competitors. Well. This might be the only reason to not use the privacy service. Remember though that everyone and their grandmother will be able to look up your personal and private contact details

The only real reason I can think of, why you don´t need whois domain privacy is if you just run a personal site. A family blog for example. Whois Domain Privacy is not important in this case, since your information basically is known anyway if you use the blog for family matters.

Benefits of Whois Domain Privacy:

Now let´s summarize the benefits so you can easily decide on whether you need Whois Domain Privacy or not:

- You can hide your (niche) sites from competitors

- Allows you to control spam and annoying snail-mail trash

- Since you are required to offer your “real” contact details, you need Whois Domain Privacy to run a site under a pen name

- It prevents harvesters from hijacking your personal information to resell it as leads to shady companies

- It prevents you from getting stalked. Believe it or not, there are many psychopaths out there and getting stalked is not a very fun experience, I have been told.

- If someone decides to google you, they will be easily able to find out your home address. This never is an appealing option.

As you can see you get many important benefits from it. This is why I need Whois Domain Privacy. The work is a masterpiece and you want to get rich and famous. Squeeze as much money out of it as possible. Make a million sales and then sell the film rights to holliywood!

Who can help you doing so? Of course, big publishing companies.

You submitted your book to a couple of publishers, already visiualizing the riches and fame. Unfortunately nobody is interested in publishing your book. No matter how good you try to sell it, you just can´t find a buyer.

As time passes you get desperate. You now have 3 options:

- – – Abandon the whole project and start all over again with a new book

- – – Be persistent in finding a publisher. Improve your business plan and sales presentation

- – – Take the long path of self-publishing

We are going to discuss important questions about self-publishing. There are a lot of dangers you need to be aware of. Before taking the self-publishing road you will also have to ask yourself a couple of very important questions. Please take your time to answer these questions honstely and in detail.

Reduce the Dangers of Self-Publishing

Question #1:

Have you taken the time to research both the traditional publishing process and the self-publishing process?

Did you come to the conclusion that self-publishing really is the way to go? Or do you feel like a conventional publisher is the better option. If so, perfect your book business plan, your sales pitch and try again. Over and over until you succeed. Otherwise read the other questions about self-publishing

Question #2:

Are you prepared to spend, and in the worst case even lose, money?

You need money to make money. This old saying is also applicable to self-publishing. You need to invest at least a little bit, even if you are a jack-of-all-trades. If you do everything on your own, the endproduct is going to be far from perfect. A good read on this would be Adam Smith´s theory of divided labour

Question #3:

Do you have enough time to self-publish your book?

Can you address all the tasks that need to be addressed, when they need to be addressed? Self-publishing takes a lot of time and work. Expect having to spend countless hours on promoting your book etc.

This brings us to Question #4:

Are you prepared to lose the time you spent self-publishing?

Losing money is not the only danger of self-publishing you will come across.

Question #5:

How much are you going to charge for your book?

This depends on how long your book is. Pricing will also affect royalities so make sure to inform yourself before setting the price. It´s highly recommended to adjust your price a couple of times, based on various factors like revenue, sales, rank, promotion time, etc

Question #6:

Can you handle editing and proofreading or are you in need of experts and freelancers?

If you are unsure on the definite answer, the answer is YES! Many statistics indicate that books with great covers, proper format and minimal errors sell much better.

Question #7:

Are you capable of reaching and selling your book to a broad audience?

Marketing is a huge factor and an even bigger area to master. You need to be an expert marketer in order to see you book selling. Having a marketing plan is mandatory. If you just go ahead with the mindset „I´ll post in a couple of forums and FB groups, let´s see what happens… que sera, sera“ you are planning to fail!

Question #9:

You posses enough enterpreneurial spirit?

Writing and self-publishing a book and keeping track of its progress is like managing a small company. You should write a business plan for example. Make yourself familiar with basic business rules and skills required to succeed.

Question #9:

Do you fully understand the entire publishing process?

So many questions about self-publishing arise… What about: Writing, Formating, Writing Style, Topics Covered, Formatting, Uploading, Marketing, Promotions, Price Setting, Price Adjusting, Niche Finding, Aduience & Keyword Research, Description, HTML, Platforms, Reviews, Dealing with Bad Reviews, Improving the Book, ISBN, Outlining, etc, etc, etc…

There is so much you need to know it´s almost not funny anymore. As a full-blooded writer the only detail you had to focus on was finding an idea and then writing your book. There are so many questions about self-publishing you need to answer to be successful. On the other hand if you can´t find a publisher, you will ultimately need to…

All of these questions will be answer in my blog, eBooks and courses though so don´t dispair!

If you have more questions about self-publishing and dangers of self-publishing feel free to contact me!

Questions about Self-PublishingAnonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02294748870101771541noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1431988334247187012.post-15529958928629728012014-03-13T08:25:00.001-07:002014-03-13T08:25:47.583-07:00Writer Qualifications
Writer Qualifications

In this post we are going to take a look at the required qualifications to become an author. I am going to focus on how to become a traditionally published writer in another post. We are going to focus on becoming a self-published author for the moment. So what writer qualifications are really necessary?

I am sure that most of you have already applied for a traditional 9-17 job. If you went through the job description every proper job asked for qualifications. Either a high school diploma, previous work experience in that field, the requirement to travel and so on.

But what if you want to become a writer? Do you need any writer qualifications?

Let´s face it. The only person you are applying to, if you want to become a self-published writer, is yourself. So we can make the answer short: You don´t need any writer qualifications to start earning money with your books.

None in the traditional and formal aspect. No. In this sense you don´t need any writer qualifications! None of your buyers are going to ask you for a degree before they order and enjoy your books.

I´m not saying that having qualifications are of no use, if you want to become a self-published author. For example if you hold a law degree and write a book on “how to unethically influence the judge in a divorce trial”. Having a law degree is going to reflect on the quality of your work. This was just an example. Please, if you are a lawyer and read this post never, ever, ever write a book on this and use your real name. I guarantee that you will get into trouble for disgracing your profession (in Central Europe at least).

Again, if you are an expert on a field, it is highly recommended to profit from your knowledge. Writing in very specialized niches can be very profitable. Let´s take the lawyer example again. You can write a book on mistakes to avoid before a divorce etc…

Since you are an expert on your field, you automatically possess writer qualifications in this area. Even if you have no writing experience at all. The only writer qualifications you will need is a proper command of your language. This includes but is not limited to grammar, spelling, punctuation and syntax.

What about Experience and Knowledge?

Do you know how to connect to the internet? Are you able to perform a google search? Can you use your keyboard and open a word text file?

If you answered yes on all of the above questions I have great news for you. You can become a non-fiction writer any day!

I wouldn´t recommend you to write an eBook about quantum physics if you have no idea about it. On the other hand if you came across a problem and managed to solve it, you can easily write a book about that.

Ever had acne? Ever caught a mouse? Ever had a dog? Ever cooked anything? Ever babysitted? Your available topics are virtually unlimited. Go and put them to use and don´t worry about it too much. Actually don´t worry about this whole article. You can write about anything!

The only factor you need to consider is the amount of work you need to put into researching. If you write a book on a topic you know much about, words will flow like the Niagara falls. If you have no idea, but an awesome idea with very low competition, writing will be much harder. But not impossible.

I wrote books on a couple of topics that I basically have no interest in at all. At least I had no interest in it before starting to write. Being a positive and open minded person goes a long way.

Conclusion:

Writer qualifications and experience is highly overrated. If you believe in yourself and throw aboard your limited believes, you will do just fine! Maybe not best seller fine to start with, but you can create a decent cash flow. Don´t let missing writer qualifications and limiting believes stop you!

Now go out and put your non existant writer qualifications combined with long and in-depth research to use!

Writer QualificationsAnonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02294748870101771541noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1431988334247187012.post-72324487940167773922014-03-13T07:25:00.001-07:002014-03-13T07:25:31.587-07:00iMacros Scripts FB Twitter Likes

Addmefast iMacro Scripts

Do you need a kickstart for your Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, Google+, Pinterest, Reddit Account? Also known as “Ethical SEO”.

A hacker who works for a company/government who tries to hack into systems in order to identify security weaknesses may also be called a whitehatter.

White Hat SEO techniques used include but are not limited to: Manual Backlinking, Link Building, Link Exchanging, using Keywords and Metatags, Providing Quality Service/Content and making your page easy to navigate.

If you only use White Hat tactics to improve your SERP (Search Engine Results Page) you run into no risk of getting penalized or even banned from google and other search engines. As a whitehatter you limit yourself to abiding the terms of service at any given moment.

Is White Hat SEO the only way to go? I can answer this with a clear YES! Whitehat SEO is the way to go! IF…. and only if you have no idea how to implement Grey Hat SEO strategies! Almost everyone who managed to rank well for his keyword is using Grey Hat or has used it. Please read on.

<p style=”text-align: center;”><img class=”aligncenter size-medium wp-image-131″ alt=”Blackhat SEO and Whitehat SEO” src=”http://www.nickcnobles.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2014/02/zweispione1-300×194.jpg” width=”300″ height=”194″ /> Black Hat SEO vs White Hat SEO

<h2 style=”text-align: center;”>

<h2 style=”text-align: center;”>

<h2 style=”text-align: center;”><span style=”color: #7d0552;”>What is Black Hat SEO?

Welcome to Black Hat, the darkside of SEO. No, they don´t have cookies but they have Scripts, Bots, Spam, Scam and a load of automation programs at their disposal. They utilize Keyword Stuffing, Hidden Keywords/Text, Cloaking, Doorways, Questionable Redirects, Blog Networks, Article Spinning, Phishing, Viruses, Malware and plain Hacking.

Any other unethical behaviour falls into this category too. Like reporting pages and building literally millions of backlinks in the hopes of getting said pages deindexed and banned from google.

If you happen to be the target of such a dirt campagain (Backlink spam) please visit this link for help.

<h3 style=”text-align: center;”><span style=”color: #7d0552;”>Dangers of Black Hat SEO

SEOs´ reputation has taking a massive blow from Black Hat spam techniques and it´s going to take a long time for it to recover.

Many new people in the SEO business read about Black Hat SEO and are swept off their feet by the promises Black Hhat SEO offers. They stop utilizing White Hat SEO strategies and instead use dubious tactics trying to improve the google ranking of their customers. This might lead to huge damages done to these websites.

Google is by far the biggest search engine with multiple million of hits everyday. It massively harms you, if your site gets deindexed or penalized.

Black Hat SEO has also lead to a common mistrust in search engine results. This directly harms proper ethically acting business. The flood of spam reduced the value of brands in the online market economic system.

Black Hat SEO is most commonly used to create landing pages who lure readers into buying usually worthless junk.

So to summarize Black Hat SEO tactics are very malicious and bad.

Are they really? It´s useful for getting points without doing anything.

What can you do with the AddMeFast points? You can spend them on your pages. AddMeFast offers many services shown in this picture. Simply go to “Add Site/Page” to redeem your points.

Excellent. You now know how to use my scripts to get points and now it´s time to take a look at <span style='color: #<span class=;'>7d0552;”>how we can profit from these points.

You can use the points to <span style='color: #<span class=;'>7d0552;”>kickstart your page. Let´s face it. Even if you have the greatest business idea nobody is going to do business with you, if you have your mother and your neighbour as only friends/followers.

This is the reason it is <span style='color: #<span class=;'>7d0552;”>NOT unethical to use it.

Think about the other uses. Let´s say you have a friend who makes some great/funny youtube videos. The problem is nobody “likes” his videos and his channel. He is going to become frustrated rather quickly. Use AddMeFast in conjunction with my AddMeFast iMacros Script. Now send some likes his way to motivate him!

So please tell me again how this is unethical?

Yes if you abuse my AMF scripts to give your scam page thousands of likes… well sir… you are an asshole and I hope you burn in hell. But if you use it moderately to motivate, do good and kickstart your company/product it´s all fun and games. You have no reason at all to feel ashamed.

<h2 style=”text-align: center;”>Essential Rules to using AddmeFast scripts

<span style='color: #<span class=;'>7d0552;”>Tip #1

When you add your own page you need to make sure that you select the countries where your likes may come from.

Don´t make the mistake to allow people from Thailand, Philippines, Malaysia etc to click your links.

You can choose up to 30 countries. Anyone who is not from the selected countries won´t see your Facebook page on AddMeFast.

<span style='color: #<span class=;'>7d0552;”>Attention! Some people use Proxies to trick AMF into thinking they are American. That´s why I recommend that you regularly check your new FB likes and manually delete the usual suspects. To do so you go to your FB page.

<img class=”aligncenter size-medium wp-image-147″ alt=”AddMeFast-iMacros-Bot-Scripts” src=”http://www.nickcnobles.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2014/02/AddMeFast-Review-21-300×133.png” width=”300″ height=”133″ />

Right click on “See Likes” and open in a new task. Now you see your new fans and can delete them one by one. If you want to mass delete your fans check out my guide on Facebook Scripts.

<span style='color: #<span class=;'>7d0552;”>Tip #2

Go to the admin panel. Click edit page. Choose edit settings and look at these 2 beautiful points:

I´m not sure if I have to explain much but this is a very overlooked great feature. If you decide to change the age restrictions you can KICK OUT every single person under the age of 21. Do so by selecting: “People 21 and over”

And yeah, depending on your target audience I highly recommend you to hide your page from people in my selected blacklisted countries.

<span style='color: #<span class=;'>7d0552;”>Tip #3

Never overuse the Twitter Macro. You can run my Facebook Macro all day and all night and nothing happens but Twitter is pretty quick to suspend and ultimately ban your account.

<span style='color: #<span class=;'>7d0552;”>Tip #4

It amazes me how many “real” people use their real Social Media accounts for AddMeFast purposes… Why. Please tell me why… Good for you since you get real fans and real people (you get around 2,1-2,3 views for every AddMeFast like, tested) but terrible for you if you use your real account.

Just create a fake Twitter and Facebook account and you are good to go.

<span style='color: #<span class=;'>7d0552;”>Tip #5

Aren´t you also annoyed that facebook shows the whole world how many people are talking about your site? Only part time to create a nice second stream of income. I´ve been investigating various niches, and have a lot of new cutting edge “kindle programs” on my computer. Most of them are plain stupid!

The vast majority are trash, repeated crap… without any knowledge of the Kindle platform. Some internet marketers or let´s call them “authors” don´t seem to have published a single eBook on kindle themselves. Most of these courses seem to be copies of previously published programs. Someone once wanted to prove this. So he posted a WSO (Warrior Special Offer) about Amazon Kindle. He embedded a specific in his PDF file. Within a couple of months, there were several other WSOs with basically the same rehashed content as his. And guess what… WITH THE VERY SAME EMBEDDED ERROR! Some of them from very well respected users of the warrior forum.

The huge problem I see with Kindle is the arrival of the “IM (Internet Marketing) Crowd”. You know, the ones that want to make a fortune overnight with no effort or thought involved. We have seen the “magic bullet” for Kindle move from PLR, to Recipes, to outsourcing articles to be combined into non-fiction books. You even saw article spinners used to create “unique content” that tricked and got past the Kindle filters. It goes on and on.

Very few of the Kindle programs out there have anything do with the reality of publishing a Kindle product. Unfortunately you will find out, that telling the truth in a WSO doesn’t get you any sales either. If you don’t promote the quick and easy, bazillion dollars for no effort, you won´t see many sales. A WSO with a very long sales latter combined with rehashed crap seems to get the job done. The is the awful truth with WSOs and the stupid new-age Internet Marketing population of this world. Around 10% of all the WSOs and courses are good for something. The rest simply takes up you harddrive space. You know, some days it’s bullshit owning a functioning conscience.

Bottom line: I’ve got over a dozen titles, (mostly non-fiction published.) Each niche has it’s own pseudonym. Some make reasonable money. Some were a waste of time (not counting my personal education as to what I need to do better next time) and money. You win some, you lose some.

From my perspective, the truth about Kindle publishing and keys to Kindle success contradict the get quick rich fast concept most courses follow:

The Awful Truth About Kindle

Do it yourself. Write your own eBooks. Kindle isn’t Internet Marketing. Kindle is the writer´s world. You can´t bundle a couple of cheaply written articles and call them a book or short journaly and expect to make a lot of money.

Edit, wait a couple of weeks and then edit again. Outsourcing the editing process is a very good idea and highly recommended

If you can’t spell, or don’t know what various words mean, you need to have someone who is an English major to review your book, before you publish it. Maybe get your hands on a book on Homophones.

Make sure you handled the formatting correctly. You will be surprised by how many books are returned because they were almost unreadable, since the author didn’t pay close attention to formatting. If you publish your book and it doesn´t look legit, you need to republish it. If you don’t know how to format your eBook, either learn how to do it, or find someone to format for you. This is an often overlooked aspect that can make or break your book.

If you don´t already own one, buy a Kindle as soon as possible. Some apps are great but they won´t show kindle books the same way a real Kindle device does. Kindles nowaday are reasonably cheap and very handy once you get used to them. I own a paperwhite and Kindle Fire HD and find that they are pretty consistent when it comes to how they display the Kindle books.

Series’ are king. Fiction and non-fiction. A series of related titles (related niches or sub niches) in non-fiction will help boost sales. A series in fiction will build readership and give you the opportunity to branch into related genres.

Build your brand (for each pseudonym). The only IM thing I really support or follow is building a list. Each of my pseudonyms has it’s own list, but I’m not obnoxious about trying to get people into the list. Most of my list members come from a link at the back of my books, not from outside efforts or squeeze pages.

Pay attention to your reviews. If you get a bad one, figure out what the complaint was. Sometimes, it’s just unmet expectation. (Remember, Kindle isn’t IM, you can’t hype something to the moon and not deliver.) I’ve had more negative reviews from freebies than regular sales. Seems a freebie should give you the world, even if a paid version doesn’t. Anyway, RESPOND to the reviews. Don’t get into a flaming war with them, but re-edit the work and release a new version, then respond with an appropriate comment that a new version correcting the problem is available. As an example, I had one review that bitched about poor spelling. I re-edited, found _two_ words that were misspelled, an a couple more words that were apparently above the reading level of the complainer. Corrected two words, reworded three sentences to be more easily understood. Republished as a new version, responded to the bad review with “re-edited to fix all errors” and the complainer retracted his previous review and posted a 4 star in it’s place. Don’t buy reviews, they are nearly always 5 star and real people tend to ignore most of the gushing 5-star reviews. By far, they read the negative ones first. Strangely, one of my best selling non-fiction books has a single 3-star review that essentially says “not my cup of tea, but if you want to learn about xxxxx, you may find this interesting” while another with several 5-star reviews gets nearly no sales (under 5 a month).

Nothing in Kindle is “fast” or “overnight.” As mentioned in previous posts, it can take time for a sale to appear as income. The rule I’ve observed is 15 days after the end of the second month since the sale… Thus, a sale any time in January gets paid around 15 March. If you’re focused in getting money fast, Kindle is NOT for you. Kindle is a long, slow build, but can be quite lucrative in the long term if you’re willing to put in the work. As someone in a former lifetime in high-tech put it “duty now, for the future.”

You need to promote your titles. Don’t go overboard at first with web sites, social media and the lot. Get the series out there and available first. Then get up a basic wordpress site and ease into the social scene, and set up an autoresponder for an email list. Once these are up and ready, put links in your existing books (republish as an updated version) and any future titles from the same pseudonym.

Don’t commit to a schedule unless you don’t do anything but write full time. If you’re planning to put out a short story a week, get a couple of months of titles published before you make a big deal about it. By then, you’ll know if your series has legs, and if you can keep up the pace. If so, great. Unfortunately, there are tons of “series” out there that have only one or two titles before they peter out. Same for books that were promoted as a trilogy, but only the first book ever gets published.

writing is hard work, You can make a living at if you are halfway decent (and have a good editor). It’s not a quick win, but a long term commitment.

Don’t believe half of what you read about what people make. Yes,

there are some that make really good living on Kindle, but most authors

aren’t. Yes, you can make enough money to quit your day job, but it’s going to take some time to ramp up to that sort of level.

I hope you enjoyed to read about the truth about Kindle.

Truth About Kindle and IMAnonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02294748870101771541noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1431988334247187012.post-35444251844049817142014-03-13T03:08:00.001-07:002014-03-13T03:08:03.079-07:00Google Penguin Myths
New Google Penguin Update Killed SEO! Did it really?

Myth 1 – SEO is dead

A lot of people seem to think that Penguin update is the end of SEO… this has to be the furthest from reality that I have read since reading about the believes of mormons.

Wait! What are you talking about? What´s a penguin update?

It´s the name for an update of the google ranking algorithm, first introduced in April 2012. It is the successor of “Panda”. With it´s main goal penalizing websites that violate googles code of conduct. Ergo websites that utilize blackhat techniques.

Did Google Penguin succeed?

Hell no! It didn´t drive blackhat SEO out of business and guess what it never will. It´s still possible to outrank Wikipedia and Amazon using “smart” techniques.

Too many newbies are concerned by the Panda/Penguin updates so it´s my duty to debunk some myths!

Myth 1:- Blog Networks are deadBlackhat, greyhat and whitehat SEO are DEAD!

Myth 2: SEO tools have become useless

Again this is a very untrue statement! Tools like SEnuke, XRumer, Scrapebox, AMR XXX are not dead. These tools are still used successfully on a daily basis by many people.

Myth 3: You can´t rank pages without getting sandboxed

Many people think that you can´t start utilizing SEO tactics like backlinking before your site “comes out of sandbox”. Wrong! You can rank many blogs and sites without ever getting any over-optimization or sandbox. Stop making too many thoughts.

Myth 4: Blog Networks have become useless

Why would anyone think so? I really have no idea but this is a false believe voiced by many. Google might have axed ALN and BMR and got most of their network deindexed the blog networks are still very profitable and useful. Quality stays king. If you have your own network with blogs it´s still your best bet. If you have the budget of course.

Just keep in mind that quality is important and don´t post spin worthless junk and don´t leave any footprints.

Big myth 5: On page SEO has become useless

The update focused mostly on off page SEO (anchor text, backlinks, footprints etc, all the off page tactics). Yet many people seem to forget about the on page SEO which is still really important.

The cause of this might be those blog and SEO “gurus” announcing misleading and plain wrong information on on-page SEO. Claiming it doesn´t matter anymore because google excactly knows the content of your site and what it´s all about etc.

Well yes. Penguin and Panda updates have improved or let´s say changed but that doesn´t mean that you can stop caring about you on page SEO like some gurus claim. It still plays a huge part of SEO and infact it has become even more relevant that it has ever been.

Myth 6: Too many back links from ONE domain hurts you

Many SEO experts now are worried that getting too many backlinks from one website, blog, side bar, hurts you and exposes you to the Google hammer. Unless coming from a manipulative source it won´t hurt you. If the backlinks are natural you can have 1000s form a single page, and guess what, penguin won’t blink an eye.

Myth 7: Competitors building spammy Backlinks will kill my rating

Wrooong once again. 1 good, real, natural Backlink will compensate thousands of fake backlinks. Don’t waste your time contacting hundreds of webmasters from pages with spammy backlinks leading to your site

Myth 8: The keyword densitiy is too high

Highly unlikely… makes sure your content is user friendly and don´t keyword stuff. Everything is fine that way. Focus on offering a great user experience. Google will notice and love it!

Myth 9: Others steal/scrape my content. This will make Google send the inquisition after me.

No, you are the first person to have published the content. Google still recognizes this and will only penalize your competitors. Stop worrying too much.

Myth 10: Google is the all-knowing never-failing overlord of the SEO Police Department!

https://www.google.com/search?q=buy+viagra

I rest my case…

Black Hat is not dead and this won´t happen in the future. Google has a lot of work to do.

Google Penguin MythsAnonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02294748870101771541noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1431988334247187012.post-90346181224423206752014-03-13T02:51:00.001-07:002014-03-13T02:51:29.888-07:00Free Images for Blogs & eBooks
Free Images, Blogs & eBooks

We all know how insanely expensive some pictures are. You need free images for your blog & website, browse iStock Photos and get a semi-stroke. Some photographs are sold for as much as 100$. WITH LIMITATIONS on how many units you can sell, using this picture.

This is madness. I´m not accusing photographers to have made a poor job & educational decision. I understand that if you have made a famous picture of Albert Einstein or Monroe, that you want to cash in on it.

But a random picture of a natural occuring stone formation? Please… you went somewhere on holiday and shot pictures. Nature and nature alone is responsible for your picture. You barely deserve any credit for this. Why do you think that you can charge 80$ for it? Upload it as a free picture and don´t punish us for your choice of not going to university or for the great decision to study arts/photography. These people are modern robber knights… highwayman.

How much does a writer charge for his book that he has spent months over months on? 100$?

Let´s disregard this for a moment, I´m pretty mad at this “business”, and try to find out how we can get free pictures for blogs and ebooks.

What are non free images for blogs & eBooks?

Every single picture you find is a paid image. That´s the rule of thumb. Basically every picture out there is copyright protected. That means that you can be held liable for conducting copyright infringement.

Unless explicitly noted, any image you find on the internet could be copyrighted, which means you could be held liable for copyright infringement. Are you up for taking that chance? Those of us who prefer to stay legal will typically be looking for images with some form of a Creative Commons license.

Various Types of Image Copyrights

Attribution: CC BY

Allows you to distributing, tweaking, and building upon the original image for personal or commercial purposes You must credit the creator.

Attribution-NoDerivs: CC BY-ND

You may distribute the UNCHANGED picture for commercial and non-commercial purposes. Any new image you create, that is based on the original image will have the same license and availability for commercial use by others.

Attribution-NonCommercial: CC BY-NC

You may tweak or build upon the image non-commercial purposes, you must credit the creator. Any new art you create will not carry the same license as the original image. Still must be used for non-commercial purposes only.

Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike: CC BY-NC-SA

Permits you to tweak and build upon the original image for non-commercial reasons only, provided that you credit the creator.

Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs: CCBY-NC-ND

Grants you the right to share the image as long as it´s unchanged, for non-commercial purposes only provided that you credit the author. This is the most limited license. So let´s find the pages that offer the best free images for blogs & eBooks!

Free Image Pages

I was never a fan of saving the best for last so here we go. You basically can choose to only use my option number 1 to get free images for your blog, e-mail, ebook, website etc

You will find the most famous pictures ever taken on here. Highly recommended and a blessing to everyone in need of beautiful free images.

1) Wikimedia Commons

Wikimedia Commons is by far the place to browse for any photo and image you can think of. It is such a huge resource for famous natural formations, famous people, huge events, memorable historical events and random pictures and the most important paintings of all times.

2) Everystockphoto

This site basically is an image search engine. It searches the biggest free stock image websites and even allows you to filter your search results. For example for the license, size, etc…

Everything can be found here.

3) Flickr – The Commons

Flickr’s The Commons is the little brother of Wikimedia Commons. The difference is that you can find pictures shared by the average Joe there. Many pictures revolving around common day life can be found there. Not only that but you will also find pictures of famous monuments, etc.

You might need to browse for some time, because among the masterpieces you will find a sheer mass of low quality pictures. But it´s well worth the search.

4) iClipart

You are looking for clip art? You have trouble searching for it via a word processing search? Look no further iClipart is the best place for you.

If you are looking for the high quality versions of the free images for blogs & ebooks you will have to pay a one time fee. Standard pictures are free.

5) Stock xchng

Stock.xchng is a another free stock photo page. In order to be able to choose the free stock images for blogs, you will need to sign up for free.

This Hungarian site also offers paid versions of pictures.

6) Morgue File

Gruesome name! Awesome free pictures! Highly recommended!

7) Microsoft Office Images

Not my first pick. You will find a lot of really low quality free pictures there. On the bright side it has many different categories available. Therefore if you are looking for something specific it might be worth a look. Microsoft Office Images can be a hit-or-miss when it comes to finding a good image if you have something specific in mind. You’ll find a lot of images that look like basic stock images, but you can also find a good selection of higher quality ‘generic’ nature shots.

Images are categorized in an easy to use and navigate interface, which is also a big plus.

8) Google Images

This probably is the most obvious choice. But like I said early, usually every picture has some kind of copyright.

You will need to set up search filters to find free pictures. You will still need to credit the source.

9) RGB Stock

Typical free photos for your blog and eBook. Not much more to say. Good quality – bad quality. Sign up required.

9) Fotolia

Many paid images and few free ones. Sign up required. Use as last resort…

BONUS: Icons

Since you might be looking for icons for your blog & eBook I present you this bonus. This is an amazing site to find various icons and logos.

They are all free and come with a free-to-do-whatever-you-want license. You will find lots of pictures, icons and logos that can´t be found otherwise.

Here you go. I guarantee that you will find as many free images for blogs & eBooks as you need!

Free Images for Blogs & eBooksAnonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02294748870101771541noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1431988334247187012.post-47899125788842838972014-03-13T02:49:00.001-07:002014-03-13T02:49:06.858-07:00Erotic Fiction Writing - Everything you need to know!
IS WRITING EROTIC FICTION FOR YOU? —===—

Do you enjoy writing fiction? Are you at least a little bit creative? Do you just want to try another niche? Are you curious about the erotic fiction niche?

If you answered yes to any of these, erotic novels are a viable option you should look into.

Writing erotic fiction is one of the most profitable ways to make money with your writing skills and cash in on sales.

The biggest growing niche on Kindle is… drums… the erotica niche. It makes up about 4% of ALL Kindle sales. Outranking every category on computers and the internet. Interesting isn´t it.

But why is that so?

Lets face it. 30 years ago if you wanted to write an erotic novel you had to bring it to a publisher. This could expose you to humiliation and embarrassment and therefore was very unpopular.

Since a couple of years the Kindle market is booming. If you are not living under a rock you should have noticed by now.

One of the big reasons is how easy it is to self-publish your own eBooks. The other one being the anonymity of the internet. You can write the most twisted erotic story and nobody is ever going to find out.

Walking into a bookstore and going to the check out with a bundle of porn under your arm is a menacing thought for many potential readers, who simply didn´t read erotica because of this huge flaw.

Kindle eliminates this completely. He gave an interview in 2012 saying:

“Customers are starting to discover them and finding that they can read certain books that they do not want other people to see and in privacy…”

God bless eReaders! This week when I was taking the train to another state in front of me was sitting a business man. Fancy suit, clean shoes, nice white eReader. I didn´t pay too much attention to him because I also was busy but then I had to arrange my thought. Looked around, looked out of the window and ultimately my gaze fell upon his Kindle screen. He was reading porn. A business man aged around 45-50 sitting in a public transport and reading porn.

Sounds obscure? Don´t miss out on the amazing opportunities this how to, step by step guide on erotic fiction has to offer.

After having read my previous article on Erotic Fiction LINK you probably have already figured out the great potential that writing erotic fiction exhibits.

A gigantic, not oversaturated (and likely never will be) market with loads of potential customers willing to give you their money in exchange for exciting stories.

Tips and rules for writing Erotic fiction

Now it´s time to show you do´s and don´ts of writing erotic stories and adult books.

If you made yourself some thoughts about it, it´s very likely that you already realized that there are many niches in the erotic/romance niche. Your job is similar to writing a non-fiction book. Find your target audience!

There are dozens of sub-niches you can tackle. Romance, fetishes like BDSM, homosexual, group settings etc. I´m sure that you can think of many. And I hope that there are many out there that neither you nor me could think about.

We can split these into

2 big categories

Number 1

is the erotic romance segment. The key area you need to focus on is having a cohesive romantic plot line throughout the whole story (spiked with sensual erotic of course).

It should be structured in a similar way to the following outline:

Woman meets man. They fall eternally into love but of course life is not Disney Land and therefore they encounter terrible obstacles that keep and/or tear them apart. Somehow they manage to overcome these extreme obstacles and find together and live together happily ever after. Or they are happy for the moment and get themselves into trouble in your sequel.

The romance focused book rarely involves more than two partners. It´s usually not the best idea for the atmosphere of the story. AND the Sex MUST play an important part in the plot and in the development of their relationship.

There is nothing wrong with the main characters engaging in more kinky acts of intercourse. Toys, bondage, candles etc are all allowed. But don´t make the mistake to take the false believe out of this that vanilla sex is boring. You and only you can decide how the main characters are going to express their love.

The second category

is the pure erotic. 100% straight into the eye. It´s generally kinkies and wilder than the romance story. You have the complete freemdon to decide what´s happening behind closed curtains. Ménage a trés, BDSM or other fetishes.

You can include multiple “characters”. Adjust the “setup” according to your target audience. If you focus on female readers you choose one woman with multiple men and vice versa.

A real plot with a lot of character development is not mandatory. You can get through with a woman who lives alone and faces the problems of clogged pipes, a broken TV and no food at home that get solved by strong male craftsmen and pizza delivery guys.

How much should you write?

This is a tough question where opinions regularly collide. Not only in the erotic fiction segment.

Your best bet in my opinion is a short story (4000-7500 words) or a novelette (7500-17500). If you are in the right writing mood and really enjoy your story. If you feel a novelette is not enough to leader your main character to a satisfactory number of happy ends then feel free to write a novella, ranging from 17500 to 40000 words.

If I was asked and had to give a definite answer I would say, go for 5000-15000 words.

Though short stories have proven to sell very well you can´t charge much for them. $1,99 is about the maximum you can and should charge. Another option is to bundle around 3 short stories and sell them for $3,99-$4,99.

Short stories have the huge advantage of not requiring too much time and they tend to establish a readership much faster.

I will release the third part of the erotic fiction series in the next days so stay tuned and look forward for tips on writing the short stories and novelettes and on important rules for creating a cover!

Welcome to part 3 of my erotic niche writing tutorial.

In Part 2 we have already talked about the benefits erotic short stories (let´s call them Erotic Shorts) have. Increased readership, hefty amount of sales, building and binding your audience.

Of course longer stories are great too but let us focus on Erotic Shorts for the moment. I present you 9 great little tips for writing erotic fiction. Let´s get started!

Obvious. Make sure your work is properly edited. Proofread. Let your partner/mother proofreader. Let a professional proofreader do his job. In order to write a good erotic fiction story you need to make sure it´s professional. Your readers will thank you with an increase in sales.

Make sure to write at least 4,500 words. Better aim for 7,000

Get a great cover designed. Avoid showing private parts though. I will come to this later. But we all know the importance of a good cover. Get it done or do it yourself if you are a gifted designer.

Keep your target audience in mind. If you are writing erotic fiction for women you will want to aim at fulfilling their fantasies, not yours if you are male.

Give the reader the feeling, that you don´t let him/her down. It´s definitely best to be clear in the blurb, maybe even using the actual word count.

Read some of the romance, sex fiction and erotical romance novels to get an idea about what sells.

What´s universally true is that people want to read about beautiful people. They want the illusion. They want to lose themselves in your story. They are keen on reading about a fantasy that they will never experience themselves.

Don´t release a short story as a stand-alone book. Make sure you have at least 3 books reader and release them all at the same time. This will arise the interest of your buyers even more and brings more money into your pocket.

You can think about releasing all 3 books as a part of a bundle and sell it for a higher price. Bundles also tend to sell well.

Target a specific audience. Not only will you need to choose wether you target men or women but also the micro niche. Sex fictions, erotic fiction, erotic romance. BDSM, erotic sci-fi, erotic horror etc, you get the picture

Let´s talk about money once again.

If you are not very well known and have yet to make yourself a name as an author you won´t be able to sell your books at $19,99. A more realistic price would be between $0,99 and $1,99. The determining factor here is the word count. If you write between 4,500 and 7,500 the price is just fine.

If you pack your books together an release them as a bundle you can sell 3-4 for around $3,99 to $4,99.

A great tip here is the following. If you release your stories as a part of a series it is an AMAZING idea to offer your first book for free. If you have a 5 part series you can afford to offer your first book for free. Actually it´s more like that you can´t afford to NOT offer your first book for free.

It´s an amazing way to kickstart your writing enterprise. This is not only true for erotic fiction but also for every other genre. Of course having a book series or at least a lot of books is a requirement. If you offer your only book for free, guess what, you probably won´t get rich.

So you want to write much longer stories? How should you price them?

around 15-30,000 words could be $2,99 to $3,99

up to 50,000 $4,99

even more than 50,000 and you can charge $5,99 or up

As a first time author I can recommend you to start with shorts. If you happen to produce a flop and burn your fingers, you won´t have wasted as much time. Also the more books you have out there the higher is the probability of you writing a best selling book.

Your book´s cover

The cover – like in every other genre – is one of the most essential parts of your book. The others being the quality of work you deliver, the reviews that you get, your description and the marketing efforts.

The cover is crucial for your eBook´s success. Think about it. Take a quick look at the Kindle store.

The only thing that grabs your potential buyer´s attention is your little cover thumbnail, the reviews and the title. That´s why you need an awesome cover! Best to get it designed by a professional. You can hire freelance designers/artists or just go to www.fiverr.com and look for a seller with at least 95% satisfaction and lots of good reviews.

Your image need to be eye-catching! It needs to be the beautiful pendant to a huge car accident. Nobody should be able to look away! (Not my best methapor to be honest…)

How should your cover look?

It needs to be tailored to your target audience. Just like your story and writing style.

For erotic romance choose a half-naked man and a beautiful woman, embracing each other. Double standards in society lead me to the following advice:

The man should look like a Greek half-god. The woman should be pretty but not porn star or Victoria Secret model beautiful.

You gotta love double standards! Welcome to our modern society!

Your second option is to just put an Adonis-looking man on the cover. NEVER EVER are you allowed to just have a single woman on the cover. This doesn´t convey that you are writing an erotic romance but rather a male porn that’s intended to be read with one hand.

So an erotic cover targeting women should have the torso of a half-naked semi-god or said man and a woman embracing and kissing.

If men are your target audience you can put a porn starlette on the cover. You audience won´t consist of women having problems identifying with the heroine in this case-

WARNING: You are not permitted to show genitals or exposed breasts on your cover. Doing so will get your book banned on most platforms.

WARNING: Don´t you dare to use the picture of anyone who looks youthful and may be considered underage. This will get your book banned and might get you into even more trouble than that.

Now go out there and let the creative juices flow! Pun intended.

Erotic Fiction Writing - Everything you need to know!Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02294748870101771541noreply@blogger.com0
